Demand Generation and Content Manager (UK Based)

Position Overview:

The role of Demand Generation and Content Manager is responsible for driving demand generation initiatives for the business and for the creation and distribution of compelling content to engage and nurture leads throughout the buyer’s journey. At XTM, we prioritize pipeline generation and achieving bookings targets over traditional MQL metrics. Reporting to the Director of Demand Generation, you will be a key member of our dynamic marketing team, working to elevate our brand awareness, reach new markets, and achieve business growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Demand Generation Campaigns:

  • Develop and execute multi-channel demand generation and ABM campaigns to promote XTM’s products and drive MQAs and pipeline growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align demand-generation efforts with sales objectives and marketing campaigns.
  • Manage end-to-end campaign execution, ensuring deadlines are met and goals are achieved.
  • Collaborate with sales and account management teams to identify target accounts and develop customized content and campaigns tailored to their needs and pain points.
  • Liaise with SME/customers/partners and external industry experts to identify speakers for internal campaigns and build highly resonating content for the demand generation campaigns. 
  • Support the event manager with the generation and execution of marketing campaigns and activities to drive leads and pipeline for events.
  • Monitor demand generation and ABM campaign performance metrics and provide actionable insights to optimize performance and achieve KPIs.
  • Create quarterly reports to highlight overall campaign results, and present findings to the team. 
  • Develop and execute account-based marketing strategies to target key accounts and maximize engagement with personalized content and messaging.
  • Develop paid digital campaigns in collaboration with external agency 

Content Development:

  • Lead the planning, creation, publishing, and distribution of high-quality content for marketing campaigns, including blog articles, long-form/thought-leadership articles, social media, email, and more.
  • Develop a content calendar aligned with marketing goals and industry trends.
  • Work with the SEO agency to review the new content and the optimization of existing content and ensure it resonates with target audiences.
  • Work closely with the sales team to create account-specific content assets such as case studies, personalized email campaigns, and account-based landing pages to support sales outreach and account penetration.
  • Support the Event Manager by creating the content and submitting Call for Papers for conferences. 
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in demand generation and content marketing, and continuously research and identify highly relevant topics around which to build campaigns and content. 

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Support:

  • Collaborate with the design, product marketing and digital team to ensure all marketing activities drive the best possible results. 
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, CS and the product teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice across all marketing collateral.
  • Lead the bi-weekly call with the sales team, present the upcoming marketing campaigns, gather feedback on marketing activities and identify new areas of opportunity. 
  • Continuously track pipeline generated for the sales team and ensure the marketing calendar supports the generation of the 4x pipeline coverage goals. 
  • Establish strong relationships with the sales team and CS and serve as the point of reference for campaigns. 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in demand generation, B2B marketing, or related fields.
  • Previous experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns and a track record of generating high-quality leads.
  • Proficiency in managing paid digital marketing campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and various social media channels.
  • Strong understanding of SEO strategies and web analytics tools.
  • Experience with webinars, content strategy, and email marketing.
  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM systems, including sending emails. HubSpot experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
